Dr. Daniel G. Tenen is a physician-scientist whose research focuses on transcription factors, gene regulation, and their role in normal hematopoietic differentiation and cancer. His laboratory has made foundational contributions to understanding how transcription factor dysregulation leads to leukemia, lung cancer, and liver cancer. He established his laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 1984 and since 2008 has also directed a laboratory at the Cancer Science Institute of Singap
