Dr. Serody is the Elizabeth Thomas Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Hematology at UNC Chapel Hill, as well as Director of the Cellular Therapy Program at UNC Medical Center. He directed the creation of UNC Lineberger's Advanced Cellular Therapeutics Facility, which has developed nearly 20 clinical CAR-T trials. His research focuses on T-cell and antigen-presenting cell migration mechanisms.
