Dr. Charlene M. Prather, MD, MPH, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, specializing in gastrointestinal motility and functional bowel disorders. She manages chronic conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diarrhea, bowel incontinence, pelvic floor disorders, anorectal function issues, and esophageal disorders including achalasia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and Barrett's esophagus.
