Doctor Eric Holz was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Highest Honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas then stayed at Baylor for a transitional internship and ophthalmology residency at the Cullen Eye Institute under the supervision of Dr. Dan B.
