Dr. Jose Romano is Professor and the Olemberg Family Chair of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Chief of Neurology for Jackson Health System, and Medical Director of the Jackson Memorial Hospital Comprehensive Stroke Center. A vascular neurologist, he joined the Miller School faculty in 1997 and was named director of Jacksons comprehensive stroke program in 2008. Under his leadership, the Department of Neurology rose from 25th to 20th in the U.S. News & World Report
