Rita S. Axelrod, MD is Professor of Medical Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She serves as Director of Head and Neck Oncology and Clinical Director of the Pulmonary Oncology Program. Her clinical research focuses on the multidisciplinary management of thoracic and head and neck malignancies, with particular emphasis on combined modality therapy and supportive care.
