I grew up in Elkhart, Indiana where I currently practice. It had been a life-long dream to become a physician, in which I chose urology based upon the wide variety of surgical and medical options available in this specialty to treat patients. I spent the first five years of my career teaching at the Louisiana State and University of Connecticut urology residency programs, during which time I published several academic papers.
