Akemi Kawaguchi, MD

Dr. Kawaguchi grew up in California and has always loved kids. She went to UC Berkeley for her undergraduate degree in Biology. She completed medical school at UCLA and then general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She did her fellowship in Pediatric Surgery in Houston, at Texas Children's Hospital. While she enjoys treating all general surgery conditions in infants and children, she has a special interest in colorectal and pelvic disorders in infants and children.
