Benjamin Peeler, M.D.

Dr. Peeler previously served as the chair of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at the Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute, as well as director of the Sanger Congenital Heart program, and chief of pediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgery at Sanger/Levine Children's Hospital, part of the Carolinas HealthCare System. Prior to leading the Charlotte program, he was associate professor of surgery and the surgical director of the pediatric cardiac surgery program at The University of Virginia .
