Dr. Kang grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She went to undergraduate college and medical school at the University of Florida. She performed one year of basic science research in colorectal cancer in the Cancer Center of the University of Florida prior to enrolling in medical school. She completed her residency in Urology at the University of Florida in 2013. She completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Urology in 2015.
