Cardiology
Fulvio Mazzucchi, M.D.
Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine
About Me I always liked the sciences, but I felt medicine was my true calling because it would give me the opportunity to help improve people’s lives. As a cardiologist, many of my patients have pacemakers and cardiac defibrillators. They tend to be late middle-aged to elderly and present with vague symptoms, such as generalized fatigue, malaise, dizziness, and vague chest or abdominal discomfort. When I work with patients, I’m always careful to think about how I would treat my family members. B
