Dr. Bakis enjoys that in gastroenterology, the successful treatment of patients requires the integration of a patients story, exam and lab findings, imaging, endoscopic, and pathologic findings. He strongly believes that therapeutic endoscopy is a team sport in which colleagues in surgery, radiology, pathology, anesthesia, primary care, nursing, and other gastroenterologists trust and rely on each other to provide the best care for patients.
