I became interested in science and medicine from a very young age, but volunteering at my local hospital throughout High School confirmed my desire to pursue medicine. In college, I was intrigued by Genetics and Embryology and became fascinated by fetal development. As a first-year medical student, I assisted a senior OBGYN attending physician with data collection for a Women's Health Study at our medical school's clinic. It was during that time that decided to enter the OBGYN field.
