Ian Carmody, MD

Dr. Carmody, an abdominal transplant surgeon, earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto. Following graduation, he stayed at the University of Toronto to complete his internship and residency. He completed a fellowship in abdominal organ transplantation at UCLA. His areas of special interest include liver, kidney transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2005 and practices at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation Main Campus.
