Dr. Backes is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine and knee and shoulder surgery. Dr. Backes completed his fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine and shoulder reconstruction at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas.
