Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:During my playing days, I experienced my own sports injuries and met physicians, therapists and athletic trainers who helped me get back in the game. Although they all greatly influenced my decision to pursue a career in sports medicine, no one has inspired me more than my parents.
