About Me I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and was interested in science and problem solving from an early age. As a child, I loved taking things apart so I could figure out how they worked. During my undergraduate education, I majored in philosophy where I studied ethics and shared decision making. It was this same passion, partnered with my compassion for others, that inspired me to attend medical school and ultimately choose the specialty of oncology.
