About Me I have been a nephrologist for more than 30 years and have never regretted my choice. As a student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, I became fascinated by the complex functions of the kidney. The kidney regulates all of body chemistry, blood pressure, and fluid balance, as well as producing hormones that control red blood cells and vitamin D.
