About Me I have had an interest in medicine for as long as I can remember. This must have been innate, because I do not have any doctors in my family. Neither of my parents graduated from college, so their pride in me for becoming a doctor has been an added pleasure. I truly enjoyed my four years of medical school. With each passing course, my interests shifted, until I landed on ophthalmology. A close childhood friend’s eye injury and the surgical efforts to repair the damage piqued my interest
