Dr. Khurana grew up in the Bay Area and earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree at Stanford University where he graduated with Honors, with Distinction and Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended the Duke University School of Medicine where he won the Humanism in Medicine award.
