Richard G. Rento II, MD, grew up in northern New Jersey before receiving his Bachelor's degree from Brown University in 1982. He earned his medical degree in 1986 from the Brown-Dartmouth Program in Medicine (Hanover, NH and Providence, RI). Dr. Rento did his general surgery and urology training at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, at the McGaw Medical Center where, in addition to his clinical training, he spent a year as a research fellow in 1991 and was Chief Resident in 1992.
