His specific areas of focus are GI cancers (stomach, liver, gallbladder, bile duct, pancreas, small intestine and colorectal), as well as sarcoma and melanoma. He performs open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and has an extensive series of more than 700 pancreaticoduodenctomies (Whipple Procedures) and has established 3 different HIPEC (heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy programs) for advanced GI cancers
