Dr. Sherine E. Gabriel is a rheumatologist and epidemiologist whose NIH-funded research has produced over 250 peer-reviewed publications on the costs, determinants, and outcomes of rheumatic diseases. She served as the 72nd President of the American College of Rheumatology (2007), became Chair of the Department of Health Sciences Research at Mayo Clinic, and was appointed Dean of Mayo Medical School in 2012.
