About Me In medical school, I was drawn to endocrinology due to its elegant physiology. I was intrigued by how hormones secreted from our glands affect receptors throughout our body. Endocrinology challenges us to think of the body as an integrated whole. Within endocrinology, my area of focus is thyroid disorders, specifically thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer.
