I am a medical oncologist with sub-specialization in the treatment of head & neck, thyroid, and esophagus cancers. As a person whose family has been deeply affected by cancer, I am passionate about patient care first and foremost. In addition, I am committed to clinical research, teaching, and also serve as the medical director for the Methodist Hospice and Palliative Care Program. My wife Lydia Kang is a physician as well as an author of young adult fiction. We have three wonderful children. I
