Merryl Schechtman, MD, FAAP is board certified in General Pediatrics and in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She obtained her BS from Wagner College and 32 post baccalaureate credits at the NYU Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in Microbiology. She received her MD degree from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1985 and completed pediatric residency and developmental/behavioral pediatric fellowship at the Schneider Children's Hospital of Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1990.
